Gary L. Gingerich, 72, of Goshen died Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Goshen Hospital.
He was born February 20, 1949 in Elkhart to Joni and Sovilla (Miller) Gingerich.
Survivors include three children, Gary A. (Cara) Gingerich of Elkhart, Jessica Gingerich of West Des Moines, Iowa and Kyle Gingerich of Elkhart; three grandchildren, Gary A. Gingerich, II, Gage Jackson Gingerich and Olivia Marie Husted.
Also surviving are seven siblings, Clarence (Mary Ellen) Gingerich of Nappanee, Fannie (Perry) Hochstetler of Ligonier, Irene (Freeman) Kuhns of Milford, Mary (Lloyd) Yoder of Drakesville, Iowa, Ervin (Rosie) Gingerich of Bloomfield, Iowa, Esther (John) Weaver of Sarasota, Florida and Larry (Karen) Gingerich of Milford.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Miller and five brothers, Dave, Melvin, Alvin, Joni Jr. and Delbert Gingerich.
Mr. Gingerich was a member of the Goshen Moose, Syracuse Eagles and attended Maple City Chapel, Goshen. He worked in the R.V. Industry, retiring as a plant manager.
Gary was a proud father and grandfather. He was an avid Notre Dame athletics and NASCAR racing fan.
Public visitation following Covid restrictions, including masks and limit of persons, will be Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A private funeral service will be conducted Thursday, May 6, 2021 also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
