Gail D. Davis

Gail D. Davis, 74, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Goshen Hospital.

She was born June 23, 1947 in Goshen to Charles and Evelyn (Burk) Chokey.

Gail is survived by three children, Christina (Thomas) Looney, Nelson E. Moreland and Tracy L. (Rebecca) Moreland, all of Goshen; a daughter-in-law, Angela Moreland of Crown City, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and a brother, Bradley E. Chokey, Sr. of Goshen.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert D. Wheeler II; second husband, Lowell “Gene” Davis; a son, Timothy S. Moreland and two brothers, Thomas L. Leer and Wilbur B. Leer.

Gail worked in Masterbrand Cabinets Inc. formerly Homecrest cabinets since 1997 until she retired.

Visitation will be 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, January 23, 2022. Funeral service at 10 a.m., Monday, January 24, 2022, both at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Tyler will officiate. A burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery.
