Freda M. Martin

Freda M. Martin, 83, of Goshen died Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Waterford Crossing Healthcare.

She was born November 17, 1938 in Yoder, Kansas to Daniel D. and Elizabeth (Yoder) Yoder.

She is survived by three sons, Dale (Marj) Martin of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Roger (Mary Jo) Martin of Goshen, and Steve (Sheryl) Martin of Akron, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Andrew Yoder of Texas, Merle Yoder of Millersburg, Esther Bontrager of Goshen, and Nadine Brewster of Florida.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Martin, a son, Randall “Randy” Martin, and a brother, Omer Yoder.

Mrs. Martin was a member of the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church, Kokomo and attended Clinton Frame Church after moving to the area. She was a faithful Christian and loving homemaker.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, followed by a 5 p.m. funeral service. Pastor Lee Miller, Kokomo, will officiate.

Burial will take place 11 a.m., Monday, May 30, at Mast-Hensler Cemetery, Kokomo.
