Fred Rink, Jr., 93, of Millersburg, died Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.
He was born October 10, 1927, in Goshen to Freddie Ott and Florence (Rockenbaugh) Rink.
On September 3, 1950 he married Ruby Clark.
She survives along with three children, Debra (James) George of Wakarusa, Michael (Janell) Rink and Robert (Anita) Rink, both of Goshen; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Schrock of Silver Lake and a brother, John (Joanne) Rink of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Rebecca M. Korty; a brother, Richard Rink and a sister, Virginia Turley.
A lifetime area resident, Mr. Rink graduated from Millersburg High School in 1945. He was a member of Zion Community Church, Millersburg.
He was a part of the Indiana Horseshoe Association and the 4-H Beef Club, serving on the board at the time the new barn was built at the fairgrounds. He was a Sea Going Cowboy with Heifer Project and enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and playing euchre and checkers.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 12, 2020, from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Zion Community Church. Pastor Jeff Lewis will officiate.
Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to Zion Community Church.
