Fred Robinson, Jr.

Eugene “Fred” Robinson Jr., 59, of Elkhart, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born February 26, 1962 in Brook, Indiana to Eugene Fred Sr. and Wilma Rose (Byrley) Robinson.

On September 25, 2003 he married Kimberley Sue Thompson in St. Joe, Michigan.

He is survived by his wife and five children, Freddy Robinson of Crown Point, Ananda (Bryant) Byler of Elkhart, Alex (Gianna) Keim of Osceola, Hayleigh and Ryleigh Robinson, both of Elkhart; four grandchildren, Able, Hudson, Emersyn and Anthony; three siblings, Freida (Floyd) White of Crown Point, Betty (Tim) McCurdy of Marion, Iowa and Harvey Robinson of Gary and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa Rachel and Tiffany Nicole; a sister-in-law, Diane Robinson, and three nephews, Jeffrey Robinson, Clinton McCurdy and Logan Smith.

Eugene was a member of Grace Community Church and co-owner of American Waste Systems; he enjoyed wrestling and went to all his children’s sporting events. He enjoyed Notre Dame and Chicago Bears football and liked to go fishing but most of all he loved to spend time with his family.

Visitation will be Monday, October 4, 2021 from 1 to 2:45 p.m. followed by a 3 p.m. funeral service at Grace Community Church in Goshen.

Memorial donations may be given to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
