Franklin R. Gay

Franklin R. Gay, 96, of Centreville, Michigan, died Saturday morning, February 21, 2015 at his home. He was born March 17, 1918 in Cromwell to Arthur and Bessie Gay. On September 9, 1939 he married Vera June Landgraff. She preceded him in death on August 3, 1963. Survivors include a son, David (Denise) Gay of Middlebury; a daughter, Jean Bradley of Constantine, Michigan; six grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene (Myrtle) Gay and Larry Gay, both of Elkhart; and two sisters, Betty (Bob) Kurtz and Sharon Fulcher, both of Matthis, Texas. Frank worked for Bendix Industries in South Bend for 30 years in the aircraft division. He was also a farmer and enjoyed the outdoors. According to his wishes cremation will take place. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
