Frank L. Stoll, 67, of Morris, Illinois, formerly of Goshen, passed away peacefully at home with family at his bedside on Friday, October 14, 2016.
Born March 16, 1949 in Rolette, North Dakota, Frank was the son of Charles and Mary (Helmuth) Stoll.
He is survived by his special friend Therese Procter of Morris; his children, Audrey (Darin) Smith of Goshen; Phillip (Gloria) Stoll of Millersburg, Marcella (Sean) Scales of Goshen, and Frank Joseph Stoll (Jami Wineland, girlfriend) of Nappanee; ten grandchildren: Evan, Eric, and Danielle Smith; Jessica and Nathan Stoll; Connor, Makayla, and Alex Scales, and Joseph and Oliva Stoll, and two step-grandchildren, Autumn and Payton.
Also surviving are his siblings, Kenneth (Sharon) Stoll, Elsie (Wilbur) Mast, Judy (Bruce) Roberts, Charlotte (Kenneth Jr.) Lewis, and Geneva (Randy) Humble.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He farmed for many years in North Dakota. In 1981, Frank sold his farm and moved to Goshen, Indiana where he was a truck driver. He later began working as a heavy equipment mechanic, which brought him to Morris where he subcontracted for Ritchie Brothers for over 10 years.
Frank enjoyed racing, especially NASCAR, and gardening, and was a wine maker and beekeeper. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Visitation will be Monday, October 17, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, October 18, 2016, one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Celebration of Life service, all at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. James LaFollette of Cosperville Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will follow at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery.
