Frances Marie Brueschke, 72, of Cassopolis, Michigan, died Thursday, August 10, 2017, at her home after a brief illness.
She was born August 31, 1944 in Boston, Massachusetts, to Brady and Mary (Lucas) Bryan.
On March 25, 1967 she married Dr. Erich Brueschke in Homestead, Florida.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Dr. Tina (Michael Mack) Brueschke of Hinsdale, Illinois, Patricia (Thomas Farrell) Brueschke of Geneva, Illinois and Susan (Mark) Golebiowski, Palatine, Illinois; five grandchildren; four siblings, Barbara (James) Souhlaris of Windham, New Hampshire and Mary Ellen Feldman and William Bryan, both of Boston, Massachusetts and Brady (Marianne) Bryan of Boylston, Massachusetts.
A registered nurse, Mrs. Brueschke graduated in 1965 from New England Deaconess Hospital. In 1966 she joined the U.S. Air Force and after two years retired at 1st Lieutenant of the Nursing Corps. She was a lifetime member of Hinsdale American Legion, Illinois.
A funeral mass will be conducted Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary’s of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Bristol, with full military honors to follow. Rev. Father Bob Van Kempen will officiate.
