Floyd L. Brovont

Floyd L. Brovont, 66, of Wakarusa and former of Goshen, died Sunday evening, December 2, 2007 at Miller’s Merry Manor.  He had been diagnosed with MS in 1986. He was born in Lake Odessa Village, Michigan, on January 29, 1941, to Ray O. and Naomi L. (Miller) Brovont.  He marries Phyllis Yoder in Goshen on December 24, 1960.  She survives. Mr. Brovont moved to northern Indiana early in his life. He worked as a plumber and electrician. A member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 5 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 9:00 a.m., Thursday, December 6, 2007, prayer service will be held at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 a. m, funeral service at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church in Wakarusa. Burial will be in Old German Baptist Brethren Church Cemetery, Wakarusa. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care or Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
