Flossie M. Hoyes

Flossie M. Hoyes, 95, of Goshen, died late Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 at The Maples at Waterford Crossing. She was born May 2, 1919 in Goshen to Harry and Edna (Stouder) Clampitt. On July 29, 1940 she married Jack L. Hoyes in Goshen. He died Sept. 3, 1996. Flossie is survived by five nieces, Pam Dubie, Nancy Loetz and Debbie (Bill) Ellwood all of Michigan City, Beverly Hanyzewski of Maryland. and Carla Hanyzewski of Delaware; and special friends, Amy and Bryan Self and Herman and Gina Rollins, all of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters, Thelma Berg and Mattie Hanyzeweski. Flossie was sweet, kind, always with a quick smile and signed a greeting for "good morning". She had a sense of humor and enjoyed being with people. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, September 22, 2014, at 10 a.m., at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
