Florence J. Wilson, 81, of Goshen, died Tuesday afternoon, August 5, 2008, at Goshen General Hospital. She was born in Williamsburg, Indiana, on March 4, 1927, to Harry and Dorothy (Shell) Wilson.  She married George B. Butler in February 1946.  He preceded her in death on September 21, 1980. A homemaker, Mrs. Wilson graduated in 1946 from Kenard High School.  During World War II she worked for Delco-Remy on the assembly line riveting B-52 bombers.  She also worked in nursing at the Proof Company and Steury Boat Company; and delivered papers for The Goshen News. She is survived by four daughters, Linda (Charles L.) Newman of Columbus, Georgia, Shirley (Gerald) Lambdin of Goshen, Sue (Richard A.) Hardesty of Spring Hill, Kansas, and Sondra (Dave) Geiger of Elkhart; two sons, Steve W. Butler of Goshen and Rex A. Butler of Fort Washington, Maryland; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 7, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Ted Schowengerdt of First Brethren Church, New Paris will officiate. The body will be cremated after the service. Memorial contributions may be made to First Brethren Church.
