Florence I. Hochstedler

Florence I. Hochstedler, 94, of Goshen passed away, Monday, March 31, 2025 at Greencroft Healthcare.

She was born June 29, 1930 in Middlebury to Noah and Matilda (Yoder) Brandenberger.

On October 10, 1948 she married Walter Hochstedler in Goshen at Clinton Frame Church. He died October 24, 2018.

Survivors include a son, Lance (Claire) Hochstedler of New Paris; grandchildren, Brandon (Andrea) Kelsey, Trevor Hochstedler, Troy (Shari) Hochstedler and Lauren (Matthew) Greene; and great-grandchildren, Allison, Collin, Preston, Alexis, Anthony, Aubrey, Baige and Cyeson.

Along with her parents and husband, Walter, she was preceded in death by daughter, Jacqueline Hochstedler; son, Lamar Hochstedler and daughter in law, Linda Hochstedler; four sisters, Luella Christner, Nora DuPree, Mary Schmucker and Bertha Schmucker and brother, Lloyd Brandenberger.

Florence will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Visitation will be Friday, April 4, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

Burial will follow at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
