Faye G. Jones                                                                                        Flowers? Faye G. Jones, 90, of Goshen, died early Tuesday morning, November 2, 2005, at Goshen General Hospital where she had been a patient the last week.    She was born September 4, 1915, in LaGrange, Indiana, to William I. and Alice (Klingaman) Pence.  She was preceded by her first husband, Howard Baker Stitt, II and then married, on January 27, 1953, in Goshen, to Henry F. Jones.  He died December 15, 1999.   Mrs. Jones was a life long resident of this area.  She graduated from Shipshewana High School in 1933.  She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, XYZ Club and the Evening Circle of St. Mark’s Church, Johnson Control Retiree Group and a volunteer at Greencroft.   She is survived by three sons, Jim Jones of Goshen, Howard Baker Stitt, III, of Pedmount, Ohio and Mark Stitt of Bakersfield, California, two daughters, Melody (Dennis) Sweat of Westfield, Indiana and Jeannie Whetstone of Mottville, Michigan, 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by a sister, Barbara (Stan) Leedy of Goshen and a foster brother, Sam Spiecher of Millersburg.   She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Baker Stitt, II and Henry F. Jones, a daughter, Cherll Alice Stitt, two sisters, Fern Sherck and Freda Sims, and a brother, Karl Pence.   Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Friday, November 4, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   Pastor Tim Terrell, St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Goshen, will officiate at the 10:00 am funeral, Saturday, November 5, 2005, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.   Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Goshen.
