Faye D. Jacobs

Faye D. Jacobs, 66, of Goshen, died Friday evening, April 13, 2012, at Golden Living Center Nursing Home where she had been since May 2011. She was born March 12, 1946 in Elkhart to the late Clifford and Naomi Anita (Rice) Gilbert. She married James Clifton Jacobs, Jr. October 4, 1965. He died August 10, 1995. She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca (Knapp) Carter of Middlebury; two sons, James C. Jacobs of South Bend, and Jonathon Paul Jacobs of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Johnathon and Keith Carter and Hannah Puryear; and two great-grandchildren, Patrick Wright and Kamden Carter. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Ferrior and Nina Rummel and three brothers, John, Clifford and Ronald Gilbert. A 1966 graduate of Elkhart High School and a homemaker, Mrs. Jacobs was affiliated with Oaklawn for the last 30 years. Friends may call from 5 until the 6 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Following the service, cremation will take place.
