Fanny Mae Taylor

Fanny Mae Taylor, 77, formerly of New Paris, died Saturday, Sept. 9, at Avalon Village, Ligonier.

She was born January 1, 1940 in LaGrange to Levi and Barbara (Fry) Miller.

On May 2, 1970 she married Jerry Taylor in Goshen.

He survives along two children, Sheri (Kim Walker) Taylor and Rodney (Irene) Miller, both of Goshen; two grandchildren, Shelby Gray and Brooklynn Walker; four step-grandchildren, Neki (Zack) Miller, Mary (David) Proud, John (Jackie) Ripple and Kevin (Alyssa) Silveus; 12 great-grandchildren and a brother, Leroy (Liz) Miller of Shipshewana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings, Dan, Amos, John, Ray, Susie Taylor and Mary Wilts.

She worked for Ivy Terrace for 22 years and Syndicate Systems for 19 years, retiring in 2009.

Friends may call Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 1 p.m., Thursday funeral service will be conducted.  Pastor Mike Kelley, Word of Truth Ministries, Milford, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
