Fanny L. Miller, 78, of Goshen, died Tuesday afternoon, August 15, 2006, at Goshen General Hospital. She had been ill several months. She was born January 31, 1928, in Bellville, Pennsylvania, to Samuel H. and Julia (Yoder) Peachey. She married Levi J. Miller in Sarasota, Florida on March 3, 1958. He survives. She graduated valedictorian of Lewistown School of Nursing in 1954. She worked as a nurse at Goshen General Hospital, Elkhart General Hospital and several area nursing homes, specializing in psychiatric and geriatric nursing. She was a member of the Pleasant View Mennonite Church. She is survived by her husband, Levi; two daughters, Rosann (Dean) Burkholder of Goshen and Sarah (DeWayne Bontrager) Miller-Bontrager of Topeka; a son, Michael (Jana) Miller of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren. Also surviving are five sisters, Sarah (Norman) Glick and Julia King, both of Belleville, Pennsylvania, Mary Miller of Wakarusa, Lois (Willard) Yoder of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, and Lydia Frey of Goshen; and two brothers, Caleb (Bertha) Peachey and Joshua (Savilla) Peachey, both of Belleville, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by an infant son, John Mark Miller in 1959 and three brothers, Peter, Jesse and Benjamin Peachey. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 18 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Church. A 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 19, 2006, funeral service will be conducted at the Pleasant View Mennonite Church. Pastors Ron Deiner and Tyler Hartford will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton Brick Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant View Mennonite Church or American Heart Association.
