Fannie I. Mast

May 28, 1920 — June 18, 2007

Fannie I. Mast, 87, of Goshen, died late Monday evening, June 18, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital.   She was born in Kalona, Iowa, on May 28, 1920, to Joel and Amelia (Schlabaugh) Yoder.    A member of the First United Methodist Church, Goshen, she retired from Switches.  She volunteered at The Window.   She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy (John) Albert of South Bend, and Ruby Wertz of Goshen; two sons, Curtis “Sam" Mast of Goshen and Leon Mast of Houghton Lake, Michigan; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Katie (Eli) Swartzendruber of Kalona, Iowa.   She was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Yoder.   Friends will be received 3 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 21, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   A 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 22, 2007, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Ed Fritz and Pastoral Assistant Pam Kling will officiate.   Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, The Window or Bashor Children’s Home.
