Evelyn K. Murdock

Evelyn K. Murdock, 91, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2016, at Courtyard Healthcare.

She was born January 8, 1925 in Goshen to Haskle and Eva (Cripe) Kline.

On December 7, 1945 she married Wilford A. Murdock in Goshen.  He died December 24, 2000.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Gene) Catron and Janet (Tom) Walters, both of Goshen; two sons, Terry A. Murdock of Goshen and John R. (Tess) Murdock of New Paris; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, George M. Kline of Elkhart and Robert (Tillie) Kline of Bristol and a sister, Pearl Overholser of Bristol.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Max Sr., Dale and Haskle, Jr. and a sister, Marjorie Horn.

A lifelong Goshen resident, Mrs. Murdock graduated from Jefferson High School in 1943.  She was a member of LifePoint Church, Goshen and retired from Johnson Controls in 1987.

Friends may call Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., funeral service will be conducted on Friday, July 15, 2016.  Rev. Tom Clark will officiate.

Burial will follow in Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen.
