Evelyn Lena Miller Billman

Evelyn Lena Billman, 90, of Goshen, died late Tuesday morning, May 13, 2008, at Courtyard Healthcare. She was born in Goshen on April 24, 1918 to Ira J. and Kathryn (Flager) Miller.  She married Paul W. Billman on October 9, 1937.  He preceded her in death on February 5, 1976. Mrs. Billman retired from Bower Manufacturing Company.  She was a member of Goshen City Church of the Brethren and Eagles Lodge; and a life member of the Moose Lodge.  She volunteered at The Window. She is survived by a daughter, Loretta Tavakol of Palmdale, California; a son, John C. (Kim) Billman of Goshen and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister, Anna Yoder. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 16, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 17, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Yvonne Riege of Goshen City Church of the Brethren will officiate.
