Evelyn P. Miller

Evelyn P. Miller, 83, died Friday morning, March 4, 2011, at her home following a battle with cancer. She was born January 10, 1928 in Goshen to Christian and Mable (Mast) Baker. On February 28, 1948 she married Frances Miller in Topeka. Surviving are a daughter, Cynthia (Allen) Mast, Brownsburg; son Brian (Linda) Miller, Watertown, Tenn.; and grandchildren, Beth and Sara Mast, Christian Miller and Misty Dunn. She was preceded by her parents, husband and a grandson. A member of Maple Grove Church, Topeka, she had recently been attending New Paris Missionary Church and was formerly involved in the Red Hat Society. Visitation will be 1-6 pm Sunday at Maple Grove Church, Topeka, where the funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Monday. Pastor David Hackney of New Paris Missionary Church will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Heifer International or Goshen Care at Home Hospice.
