Evelyn G. Hartman, 84, of Goshen died Monday, March 18, 2019 at Courtyard Healthcare.
She was born January 14, 1935 in Flint, Michigan to Elmer and Flossie (Morningstar) King.
On August 21, 1955 she married Lewis H. Hartman.
He survives along with a daughter, Lori Wilson of Lakeville; three sons, Daryl Hartman (Keith Watson) of Chicago, Illinois, Arlen (Deb) Hartman of Goshen and Kevin (TJ) Hartman of Winona Lake; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Berneda Morse of Dunlap.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Harold, Glen, Gene, Elmer “Bud”, Darwin and Mel King.
Mrs. Hartman worked at Johnson Controls, Goshen as a group leader and was a member of the New Paris Missionary Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted Friday, March 22, 2019 at New Paris Missionary Church, 67652 State Route 15, New Paris, with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Rev. David Hackney will officiate.
Burial will follow at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
