Evelyn A. Frick 86, of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, formerly of Goshen died Tuesday morning, August 20, 2013. She was born July 25, 1927 in Bremen, to Hilbert and Bernice (Tridle) Weiss. On August 31, 1947 she married Harold G. Frick in Bremen. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2009. She is survived by a daughter, Linda D. (William) Sullivan of O'Fallon, Missouri; a son, Glenn D. (Hazel) Frick of Fort Mill, South Carolina; five grandchildren Lisa and Michael Sullivan, Renee, Alicia and David Frick; a sister, Virginia (Herbert) Schwepler of Austin, Texas; and a brother, Donald (Kaye) Weiss of Plymouth. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Keith D. Frick; three brothers, Robert, Larry, and Lester Weiss; and two sisters, Vera May Starke, and Delores Handschu. Mrs. Frick lived most of her adult life in the Elkhart County area. She was a secretary for Bill Long & Associates. She was a member of Goshen City Church of the Brethren, where she sang in the choir and taught children's Sunday School. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 23, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where a 10 am Saturday, August 24, 2013, funeral will be held. Long time friend of the family, Timothy T. Yoder, and Pastor Bev Weaver will officiate. Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or City Church of the Brethren.
