Evelyn E. Borntrager, 78, of Goshen, died Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born August 4, 1938 to Clarence “CJ” and Alma A. (Miller) Miller.
On July 6, 1958 she married Lloyd E. Borntrager at Townline Mennonite Church in Shipshewana.
He survives along with two daughters, Bonnie Borntrager of New Paris and Linda Borntrager of Goshen; a son-in-law, Dennis (Marty) Mast of Goshen; six grandchildren, Caleb (Amanda) Mast, Ethan (Jayme) Mast, Zachary (Kyla) Grass, Quinn (Lesley) Grass, Dean (Katie) Grass, Anna (Riley) Miller; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Velma (Terry) Peck of Goshen and Miriam “Mim” (Norm) Mast of Middlebury; a brother, Devon (Joan) Miller of Goshen, and a brother-in-law, M. Marion (Wanda) Yoder of Goshen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Brenda Mast and Pamela Borntrager; and a sister, Regina Yoder.
A member of North Goshen Mennonite Church, Evelyn was a loving homemaker and worked as a self employed home and office cleaner.
Friends may call Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, and Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at North Goshen Mennonite Church from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the 10:30 a.m. Celebration of Life service. Pastor Mark Schloneger will officiate.
Burial will follow at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial contributions may be directed to North Goshen Mennonite Church for support of their mission church in San Lucas, Mexico.
