Eva P. Myers, 94, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Greencroft Healthcare where she had been since April.
She was born December 3, 1921 in Goshen to Clarence and Bertha (Christophel) Lehman.
On November 1, 1942 she married Warren C. Myers. He died January 16, 1996.
Survivors include three children, Dennis (Anita) Myers of Goshen, Sharon (Dave) Birkey of Austin, Texas and Glenda (Samuel) Ascencio of Goshen; a foster daughter-in-law, Alpha Mae Mumaw of Wakarusa; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three foster grandchildren; eight foster great-grandchildren; 12 foster great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Wilma Lehman of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Kenton Myers; a foster son, Harold Mumaw; two grandsons, Steven and Douglas Myers and a brother, Verl Lehman.
Immediately after their marriage, Eva and Warren served three years in Rhode Island with CPS.
A lifetime Goshen resident, Mrs. Myers was a member of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church and helped start Waterford Mennonite Church and Iglesia del Buen Pastor.
Friends may call Monday, November 7, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and again Tuesday, November 8, an hour prior to the 10 a.m., funeral service at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church. Pastor Wes Bontreger will officiate.
Burial will follow in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Bible Memory Ministries.
