Eunice Lucille Hershberger

Eunice Lucille Hershberger, 93, of Goshen, died Friday, August 7, 2020, at home.

She was born December 22, 1926 in Shipshewana to Dale and Marie (Troyer) Nelson.

In January 1947 she married Roy J. Hershberger.  He died May 29, 2018.

Survivors include four children, Nelson (Judy) Hershberger, Nadine (Jack) Bechtel, Evelyn (Terry) Schollian and Marlene (Robert) Taylor; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melanie Davis; two grandchildren, Laurel and Erica; three brothers, Doris, Omar and Patrick Nelson and a sister, Mabelle Kole.

She worked as sales clerk at Kline’s and Parkside Pharmacy.  Eunice was a “cane pole” enthusiast.  Roy and Eunice enjoyed mushroom hunting in Mesick, Michigan and following retirement they enjoyed travelling.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Hess Cemetery, on CR 21, between Cr 36 and CR 38.  The family requests masks be worn.  Pastor Terri Geiser will officiate.

Memorial donations may be given to Cancer Resources of Elkhart County.
