Eunice C. Brown

Eunice Cecelia Brown, 103, of Elkhart, died late Thursday evening, June 21, 2007, at Elkhart General Hospital.   She was born in Elkhart on January 14, 1904, to William O. and Sarah (Root) Weaver.  She married Robert H. Brown in Elkhart on November 30, 1922.  He died June 27, 1983.   A homemaker and lifelong resident of the area, Mrs. Brown, is survived by two daughters, Caroline (Thomas) Krebs of South Bend and Janet Nallenweg of Goshen; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; a daughter, Roberta Schrader; a son, William Brown; a grandson, Stephen R. Schrader; a great-granddaughter, Christy Krebs; two sisters, Fay and Lillian Weaver; and two brothers, Wilbert and Bernard Weaver.   Friends will be received 12 to 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   A 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2007, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Larry Kurtz of Faith United Methodist Church, Elkhart, will officiate.   Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
