Eugene D. Jackson

Eugene D. Jackson, 72, of Goshen died surrounded by family Sunday, May 24, 2020 following a two-week battle with lung cancer.

He was born May 24, 1948 in Como, Missouri to William and Violet (Barber) Jackson.

On July 26, 1968 he married Darla J. Binkley.

She survives along with three children, Tracy (Billy Jo) Robinson of Winchester, Kentucky, Lisa (Troy) Lehr and Laura Jackson, both of Goshen; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Vickie and Karen of Florida; and brothers, Don, Brian and Mark of Missouri.

Along with his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Jackson served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War.  He worked in manufacturing for Duplex Products and Best Sweeping Specialists.

A memorial service with military honors is being planned for a later date.
