Ethel B. Summer, 91, of Goshen, died Wednesday evening, May 1, 2013, of natural causes at Greencroft Goshen Health Care, where she had been the past two weeks. She was born June 10, 1921, in Manson, Iowa, to Chris and Barbara (Zehr) Summer. A local resident since 1962, she was a factory inspector at NIBCO and also worked at Goshen Case. She was a member at North Goshen Mennonite Church. She is survived by a brother, Chris (Betty) Summer, Jr. of Littleton, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Milo, Milton, and Dan Summer; and a sister, Luella Summer. Friends may call 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. There will be a private family burial Monday, May 6, 2013, at Elkhart Prairie followed by a Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at North Goshen Mennonite Church, led by Pastor Mark Schloneger. Memorial donations may be directed to North Goshen Mennonite Church or Mennonite Mission Network.
