Esther M. Zook

Esther M. Zook, 77, died Sunday evening, February 27, 2011 at Sylvia’s House in Ocala, Florida.  She moved to Florida from New Paris in 2007.  She was born on October 18, 1933 in Goshen, Indiana, to the late John and Ella (Strycker) Bainter.  She married Norman H. Zook on May 11, 1958 in Goshen.  He preceded her in death on March 4, 2006.  Mrs. Zook worked at a factory in the sewing industry.  She is survived by one daughter, Debra (Michael) Kevern Ocala, Florida; one son, Rick Ramey, Arlington Texas; two granddaughters, April McKeown, Angela Riley; two great-granddaughters; one sister, Erma Varmun, Ocala, Florida; and one brother, Robert Bainter, Ocala, Florida. She was preceded in death by one sister, Bertha Chupp Looney.  Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 3, and one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  A 10 a.m., Friday, March 4 funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery.
