Esther H. Weddle

Esther H. Weddle, 83, of Goshen, died Sunday, May 10, 2020, at home.

She was born August 10, 1936 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to John R. and Fairy A. (Pfaltzgraff) Hershman.

On December 29, 1957 she married George Curtis Weddle.  He died November 21, 1983.

Esther graduated Summa Cum Laude from Elizabethtown College, Pennsylvania in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Survivors include four children, Jeff (Julie) Weddle of Goshen, Steve (Margaret) Weddle of Houston, Texas, Mike Weddle of Mission Viejo, California and Jennifer (Sam) Peeler of Goshen; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Weddle was very active in her church, Living Faith Fellowship. She was an avid cook, baker and vocalist.

She worked at KMC, New Paris.

Private family services will be held Friday, May 15, 2020, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home followed by a private burial at Hess Cemetery.
