Esther R. Lantz

Esther R. Lantz, 76, of Goshen passed away Monday evening, February 1, 2016 surrounded by her family at Greencroft Healthcare into the loving arms of Jesus.

She was born December 19, 1939 in Walnut Creek, Ohio to Albert and Katie (Miller) Kuhns.

On June 29, 1958 she married Glendon “Glen” E. Lantz at North Goshen Mennonite Church, Goshen.

He survives along with two sons, Rodney (JoLisa) Lantz of Shipshewana and James (Jodie) Lantz of Benton; a daughter, Krista (Boyd) Smith of Goshen; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Ernie (Diane) Cross of Wawaka, Howard (Jean) Cross of Nappanee and Edward Kuhns of Anchorage, Alaska.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, William G. Cross, and four brothers, Daniel,  Reuben and Roy Kuhns, and Billy Cross, Jr.

Mrs. Lantz was a very active and involved member of Grace Community Church since 1959. She also was a homemaker and beautician. Her greatest love was for her family.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 funeral service at Grace Community Church, 20076 C.R. 36, Goshen. Pastor Jim Brown will officiate.

Burial will follow at Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen.
