Esther Grover, 99, of Goshen, died Friday, November 30, 2018, at Waterford Crossing Healthcare.
She was born February 6, 1919 in Goshen to Harvey J. and Pearl (Miller) Stutzman.
On July 6, 1964 she married John M. Grover in Goshen. He died June 16, 1992.
Esther is survived by a sister, Doris Stutzman of Goshen, a step-grandchild and two step-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clem Stutzman; four sisters, Velma Delagrange, Mildred Eichelberger, Lulu Stutzman and Agnes Wenger and a step-daughter, Joyce Weeden.
She was a member of Clinton Frame Church and an active member of the women’s sewing group. She volunteered for many years with Meals on Wheels. She worked at GC Murphy, retiring in 1971 after 29 years.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 5, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Clinton Frame Church where a 11 a.m. memorial service will be held. Pastors Ken Bontreger and Linda Miller will officiate.
A private burial will take place prior to the service at Violett Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Clinton Frame Church.
