Ervin J. Mullet, 92, of Goshen, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at The Laurels of Goshen.
He was born May 30, 1930, in Conway Springs, Kansas, to Jonas and Mary Ann (Yoder) Mullet.
On Dec. 22, 1953, he married Bonnie Lou Pederson at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Arlington, South Dakota.
She survives along with two children, Ronald H. (Anne) Mullet, Milford and Vicki L. (Lisa Kelly) Mullet, Seattle, Washington; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mary Metzler, Goshen.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Leta Yoder, Nina Ciot, Martha Yoder, Ida Mullet and Tillie Miller and three brothers, Noah “Bud”, Henry “Hank” and Enos “Pete” Mullet.
Mr. Mullet owned and operated Erv’s Small Appliance and Vacuum Shop for 25 years. He also worked at Switches and Triangle Rubber Company.
He served as a scout leader for the Boys’ Scouts and enjoyed camping, fishing, mushroom hunting, metal detecting, collecting old watches and other antiques and refinishing old floor lamps and brass fans.
Mr. Mullet served as a medic with the U.S. Army in Germany.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church, Goshen. Pastor Jessica King will officiate.
Burial, with military honors, will follow in Violett Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to Faith Lutheran Church.
