Ervin J. Graber

Ervin J. Graber, age 75, of Nappanee, Indiana, passed away at 1:12 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Elkhart General Hospital.

Ervin was born on January 21, 1951, in Bremen, Indiana, to Victor and Fannie (Kauffman) Graber. He graduated from Nappanee High School in 1969.

Ervin spent many years transporting Amish families and truly enjoyed the relationships he built along the way. He especially treasured the deep conversations and meaningful connections he shared with the families he served.

Ervin loved God and was deeply devoted to the Bible. He cared greatly for his siblings and valued family deeply. He also had a simple favorite that brought him joy — lemon cookies were his favorite food in the world.

Ervin is survived by his son, Timothy (Jennifer) Miller of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Timothy Jr., and Benjamin Miller, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Fannie Graber; his sisters, Mary Kauffman, Karen Graber-Sargent, and Vera Graber; and his brothers, Joseph, Henry, and Herbert Graber.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to assist with Ervin’s final expenses.
