Ermadean Seltenright

Ermadean Seltenright, 86, of Goshen, died early Saturday morning, December 6, 2014 at The Maples at Waterford Crossing. She was born June 2, 1928 in Plymouth to Ernest J. and Mary J. (Carothers) Lee. On August 31, 1947 she married Leo Seltenright in Plymouth. He survives along with a son, Dan (Kathleen) Seltenright of Goshen; a granddaughter, Susan (John) McKnight; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Andrew. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harold Lee. A 1946 graduate of Plymouth High School, Mrs. Seltenright attended South Bend Beauty School and worked as a beautician in Lafayette. After moving back to the area, she worked at Reiniche Printing and Elkhart County Farm Bureau Co-op. After earning her realtors license, Mrs. Seltenright worked for Glade Boomershime and Jerry Shand. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Beacon Lights and Tri Kappa Sorority. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. Friends may call on Friday, December 12, 2014 an hour prior to the 2 p.m. memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Purdue Club of Elkhart County Foundation or Friends of Elkhart County Parks.
