Erma Nissley, 83, of Goshen died Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the Laurels of Goshen.
She was born April 1, 1938 in Miami County to Oba J. and Anna (Yoder) Miller.
On May 30, 1957 she married Raymond J. Nissley in Amboy.
He survives along with four children, Lennie (Jeanie) Nissley of South Bend, Myron (Cindy) Nissley of Goshen, Leland (Melissa) Nissley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Melanie (Mike) Smith of Pierceton; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elsie (Don) Horner of Kokomo.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ada Miller, Mattie Beachy and Lydia Beachey; and five brothers, Dan, Menno, Bill, Clarence and Ervin Miller.
Mrs. Nissley was a homemaker and worked as a cook, retiring from Waterford Elementary School. She enjoyed time with her family, especially when she was able to babysit her grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 9, from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Nappanee Missionary Church. Pastor Jason Rohde will officiate. To view the service online visit www.nmc.church/livestream .
