Erma L. Kulp, 99, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Greencroft Healthcare where she had been the last three years.
She was born February 1, 1918 in Southwest to Milo and Ella (Kauffman) Weaver.
She married Doyle Berry in April 1939 and later divorced. On October 9, 1959 she married Noah H. Kulp. He died March 8, 1996.
She is survived by four children, twins, Janis (Raymond) Yoder and Jeanette Huff-Hess, Joan (Jim) Kincaid and Marilyn (Al) Graber, all of Goshen; a step-daughter, Janice Rodgers, Elkhart; 14 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 19 step-great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Madene Balsley of Bremen and a brother, Wayne (Nancy) Weaver of Elkhart.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Helen Loucks and Lois Stickel; two brothers, Eldon and Wilbur Weaver; a step-son, Jimmie Kulp and a step-granddaughter.
A 1936 graduate of New Paris High School, Erma was a member of Goshen City Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed playing piano and organ, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, reading books and listening to books.
Erma lived in the area her entire life except for 20 years spent in Florida. She worked at Goshen Rubber for 21 years.
Friends may call Friday, July 21, 2017 from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 2 p.m. funeral service will follow.
Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
