Erma Mae Fidler Guipe

Erma Mae Fidler Guipe, 92, of Goshen, died early Tuesday morning, November 12, 2013, at her home. She was born in Pierceton June 11, 1921 to Noah W. and Lizzie Dell (White) Fidler. She married Henry "Hank" F. Guipe April 4, 1941 in Goshen. He died October 26, 1968. She is survived by five sons, David (Linda) Guipe of Pinehurst, North Carolina, John (Susan) Guipe and James Guipe, both of Goshen, Richard (Carolyn) Guipe of Indianapolis and Thomas (Melissa) Guipe of Jonesboro, Arkansas; 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a sister, Mary Kerlin; and two brothers, Russel and Lewis Fidler. A member of First Brethren Church, Goshen, Mrs. Guipe owned and operated a child care facility. A private family graveside service will be conducted at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
