Erik Mounsey Morris

Erik Dean “Doc” Mounsey (Morris), 20, of Bristol died Thursday evening, August 4, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne, following a motorcycle accident near Shipshewana.

He was born August 13, 1995 in Goshen.

He is survived by his mother, Lily (Jon) (Barrick) Gregorski of Bristol; his father, Ken (Lorelei) Mounsey, Jr. of Syracuse; fiancé, Kayla Garber of Warsaw; step-son, Kasen Garber of Warsaw; three sisters, Danielle (Demiris) Williams of Syracuse, Somur (Christopher) Stanley of Goshen and Allyson Kirsch of Bristol; step-brothers, Malachi and Nicholi Rushlo, Chris and Alex Yanez and Colby Smoker; step-sisters, Paige and Hadie Klabusich and Megan Waldrop; grandparents, Nora Laws and Eldon (Lori) Barrick both of Elkhart and Joan Mounsey of Bakersfield, CA; nieces Kylinne and Holly; and nephews, Baiylin and Conner.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Kenneth Mounsey, Sr.

Erik attended Goshen and Northridge High Schools where he was active in football, track and wrestling.  He currently worked in the local R.V. manufacturing industry.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen where a 10 a.m. funeral service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016.  Pastor Fred Curry, New Paris Full Gospel Church, will officiate.

Cremation will take place after the service.
