Erick "Rick" N. Rogers

Erick “Rick” N. Rogers, 41, of Goshen, died unexpectedly at Goshen General Hospital, after being brought in by Goshen Paramedics.   He was born on May 5, 1965, in Goshen, to Judy L. (Keim) Slabaugh and Dana A. Rogers.  On June 26, 1998, he married Grace Diaz at the West Goshen Church of the Brethren.  She survives.   A lifelong resident of Goshen, Mr. Rogers, was employed at Forest River in Goshen for eight years.  He attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen.   He loved camping, Harley-Davidson, NASCAR, and working on his vehicles.   He is survived by his wife, Grace Diaz; his mother, Judy L. (Keim) Slabaugh of Goshen; his father, Dana A. Rogers of Syracuse; three children, Alexa, Dakota and Siara Rogers all of Goshen; a brother, Shayne A. Rogers of Goshen; two sisters, Jeri (Bart) Hoag of Goshen and Jill Slabaugh of Elkhart; and a grandmother, Lois Rogers of Goshen.   He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Cecil Rogers.   Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, at the funeral home.   A 10:00 a.m. funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 12, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Father John Delaney of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church will officiate.   Burial will be at a later date in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Erick “Rick” Rogers c/o Grace Rogers.
