Eric D. Fergison

Eric D. Fergison, 40, of Goshen, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.

He was born June 28, 1977 in Elkhart to Donald and Karen Fergison.

They survive along with a sister, Kara Fergison of Goshen; beloved nephews, Slade and Gabriel; and girlfriend of 14 years, Shawndell “Shawna” Szynski of Granger.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandfather, Elmer Miller of Topeka.

He was a 1996 Northridge High School graduate, Middlebury.  He owned and operated his own businesses, Fergison Snow Removal, which he contracted with Elkhart County, and Mosquito Blocker Pest Control.

Eric had so many wonderful friends that he cherished.  He enjoyed bon fires, poker, golf, Notre Dame football and basketball, traveling with friends, his love for food especially crab buffet and pizza, and his little fur-baby Mini Moo.

Friends may call Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday, April 13, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, where an 11 a.m. funeral service will be conducted.  Rev. Dan Diener, Harvest Community Church, Goshen will officiate.

Burial will follow at Olive East Cemetery, Elkhart.
