Eric A. Call, 50, of Goshen, died Sunday, January 3, 2021, at University Hospital, Indianapolis after a brief illness.
He was born October 9, 1970 in Goshen.
Eric is survived by his parents, Frederick (Lois) Call of Bristol and Beverly (Bewyer) Call of Goshen; five children, Taylor Call of Goshen, Cody (Alexandria) Call of Middlebury, Nathanial Call of Bristol, Kaydence Call of Goshen and Johnathon Huss of Elkhart; four grandchildren, Braxton Horvath and Sofia, Leonidas and Layla Call; two sisters, Karen Call of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and Karla (Joe) Cook of Elkhart; a niece, Alexis (Brae) Beadles and a great-niece and great-nephew.
A 1990 graduate of Northridge High School, Eric attended Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois on a baseball scholarship. He loved to spend his free time in the woods hunting and rainbow pit trout fishing. He taught his kids everything they know about life and when his kids started having kids he loved and cherished each and every one of his grandchildren.
Eric was employed with Forest River Marine, Middlebury.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 7, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. A graveside service at Violett Cemetery will follow. Family friend, Barry Scheetz and Pastor Gary Sheets of Middlebury Community Church of the Nazarene will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Middlebury Little League.
