Enos D. Yoder, 84, of Goshen, died early Wednesday morning, August 25, 2010, at Goshen General Hospital. He was born in Arthur, Illinois, on August 9, 1926, to David Y. and Mattie (Schrock) Yoder. He married Irma Mae Miller on October 14, 1950. She survives. Also surviving are eight children, James (Cheryl) Yoder of Goshen, Lois (Duane) Miller of New Paris, Nina (David) Stoltzfus of Lititz, Pennsylvania, Enos (Monica) Yoder, Jr. of Goshen, John (Janine) Yoder of Ellensburg, Washington, Steven (Tina) Yoder of Goshen, Daniel (Karen) Yoder of Middlebury, and Mark (Cindy) Yoder of Carmel; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lydia Stutzman of Arthur, Illinois. He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Luque Petersheim; four brothers and four sisters. A member of Mt. Joy Conservative Mennonite Church, Mr. Yoder worked at local RV companies and in construction work. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, August 28, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the church. A 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 29, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at Mt. Joy Conservative Mennonite Church with Pastor Ben Shirk and nephew, Gary Miller of Maple City Chapel officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to Mt. Joy Conservative Mennonite Church or Alzheimer’s for research. The family extends a special thank you to the Greencroft staff, Goshen General Hospital and Mt. Joy for their loving care.
