Eng Ek

Eng Ek, 80, of Bristol, died Friday, February 24, 2023, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born May 10, 1942, in Cambodia.

Mr. Ek is survived by his wife, Sarou Touy-Ek; three children, Laway (Heather) Ek, Sunny (Dao) Ek and Sothear Ek; a niece, Saoman (Chanty) Long; 10 grandchildren, Madie and Evie Ek, Gianni and Ellie Lucchese, Hadley Brewton, Liam and Zarra Ek and Sopheap, Veronica and Amanda Long; and five great grandchildren, Meyli, Daren, Elisa, Kavi and Calen.

A very spiritual man, Mr. Ek served his community as a Buddhist monk.  He enjoyed gardening.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 4 from 1 until 3 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a Buddhist service will be held from 3 to 4 p.m.  A procession to the crematory will follow the service.
