Emma Irene Nipper

Emma Irene Nipper, 85, of Goshen, died late Wednesday afternoon, August 29, 2007, at Courtyard Healthcare after a short illness She was born in Glomawr, Kentucky, on August 12, 1922, to Chester and Beulah (Elam) Mullins.  She married Gilbert R. Nipper on April 1, 1963, in Grassy Creek, Kentucky.  He died February 15, 1992. A Goshen resident since 1955, Mrs. Nipper worked at Goshen Nursing Home for five years and did many years of home health care. She is survived by two sons, Donnie Ray (Barbara) Nipper and Jearl (Reable) Nipper, both of Goshen; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert; a son, Vondal Nipper in 1969; three brothers; and a sister, Friends may call 10:30 a.m, to 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 31, at the funeral home. A 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2007, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. John Drexler of the First Brethren Church, Goshen, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
