Emil Robert “Bob” Belle, 90, of Goshen, died at his home on Monday, March 17, 2025.
He was born on December 6, 1934, in Syracuse, New York, to Emil and Isoline Rita (Petrilli) Belle.
Bob married Elizabeth Ritchie and they were married for 56 years, and she died in 2012. He then married Sharon McAvoy in April of 2014. She survives.
Surviving are daughters Colleen (Tim) Lalone, Kathleen (Tim) Woodbridge, Christine (Steven) Michaud, and Charleen (Gary) Laudermik; step-daughters Michelle Ann (Bradley) Ford-Whitmer, and Marla (Michael) Utzerath; grandchildren Carson (Tessa) Lalone, Collin Lalone, Caitlin (Ben) Bratcher, Cameron (Allison) Lalone, Michaela (Ryan) Dickerson, Geren (Jen) Woodbridge, Brendan (Kelly) Woodbridge, Benjamin (Aubrey) Michaud, Brigham Emil (Sarah) Michaud, Beau (Alyssa) Michaud, Cooper, Blaire, Cassie, Carly, and Corey Laudermik; step-grandchildren Brittany (Bryan) Baer, Brooke (Brock) Goodman, Brett Ford, Alec, Jack, and Elaine Utzerath; 28 great-grandchildren; siblings Emily Pastella, Richard (Lori) Belle, and Ronald (Julie) Belle.
Preceding Bob in death are his parents, his first wife Elizabeth, and brothers William and Jack Belle.
Bob enjoyed traveling and loved playing golf in his spare time. He had a close relationship with God and was involved at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Goshen. He was a very organized man and more importantly a very kind person.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Father Brian Florin will officiate the service. Burial will take place at a later date in Laingsburg, Michigan.
Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
