Elveta M. Henderson

Elveta M. Henderson, 83, of Goshen, passed away early Friday morning, July 20, 2012, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing where she had been a day. She suffered a stroke on July 9. She was born March 15, 1929 in Saltville, Virginia, to the late Malinda Aistrop and John Henderson. She married Paul Allen Henderson March 14, 1951. He preceded her in death January 20, 2010. She is survived by a son, Allan (Diane Jessie) Henderson and two grandsons, Johnny and Teddy Henderson, all of Goshen. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma J. Henderson in March 2012; a twin sister, Juanita Poston and two brothers, Lestridge and Eldridge Aistrop. A Goshen resident since 1951, Mrs. Henderson worked as a press operator at Triangle Rubber for 20 years. Friends may call from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 5:30 p.m., memorial service will be conducted. Family friend, Rev. Robert Wood will officiate.
