Elsie Mae Stutzman

March 7, 1938 — July 24, 2021

Elsie Mae Stutzman, 83, of Goshen died Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, where she had recently been admitted.

She was born on March 7, 1938 in Goshen to Enos and Lizzie Ann (Hochstetler) Chupp.

On December 26, 1959 she married Lawrence E. Stutzman in Goshen.

He survives along with two sons, Larry Stutzman and Randy Stutzman, both of Goshen; five grandchildren, Chris (Kirstie) Stutzman, Kyle Stutzman, Melissa Moore, Dylan Lackey and Kendyll Stutzman; and four great-grandchildren, Davian, Alaina, Jordan and Justin.

Also surviving are five siblings, Mervin (Edna) Chupp, Wilbur (Elsie) Chupp, Dorothy Hershberger, Elvie (Joan) Chupp and Ivan (Eunice) Chupp, all of Goshen.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kerri Lynn Stutzman; two sisters, Phyllis Miller and Mary Christner; and a brother, Marlin Chupp.

Elsie was a loving and caring homemaker, always making children and family feel valued. She enjoyed making scrapbooks to preserve special memories.

Elsie most currently attended New Paris Church of the Nazarene; she and Lawrence had previously attended Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, Goshen.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A 10 a.m. graveside funeral will be conducted Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Thomas Cemetery, Goshen. Rev. Craig Garber will officiate.
