Elsa Kreiner

Elsa Kreiner, 77, of Elkhart died Friday, February 13, 2026 at her home of natural causes.

She was born January 2, 1949 in Brokdorf, Germany to Lukas and Emilie (Stelter) Fried.

Survivors include her husband, Kerry Kreiner; step-daughter, Andrea (Brad) Daniels of Texas; step-son, Ryan (Claudine) Kreiner of Indiana; and her siblings Ernie (Deb) Fried of Goshen, Hilda Larránaga of El Paso, Texas, Lilli (Chuck) Hoogewerf and Wilma Freeze, both of Goshen.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Cobbs; a brother, John Wilhelm Fried and a sister, Maria Hess.

Elsa worked as an accountant and was a member of the Goshen DAV.

Family is scheduling an early spring graveside service at Violett Cemetery, date and time to be determined.

Memorial gifts in Elsa’s honor should be directed to the Elkhart Women’s Shelter.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
