Eloise June Fields, 95, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at her home.
She was born March 7, 1922 in Goshen to William and Clara (Cripe) Fleck.
On December 14, 1941 she married Paul F. Fields at First Brethren Church, Goshen. He died October 5, 2005.
She is survived by a son, Thomas F. Fields of Goshen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; two brothers, Wilbur and Wellington Fleck.
A lifelong Goshen resident, Mrs. Fields graduated from Goshen High School in 1940. She was a member of First Brethren Church, New Paris, where she was active in the Women’s Missionary Society and with Helping Hands, where she made crafts for the church bazaars. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge.
Eloise retired from Western Rubber after more than 50 years as executive secretary.
Friends may call Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and Friday, April 7, 2017 one hour prior the 10 a.m. service of celebration at the First Brethren Church of New Paris. Pastors Jeff Estep and Ted Schowengerdt will officiate.
Burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen.
